Films: Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster (1965)
Alias: None
Type: Man-Made (Frank), Alien (Mull)
Location: Haunted Home/Civilized Area/Eldritch Area
Height/Weight: 50 meters and 20,000 metric tons.
Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Good (Frank), Evil
Summary: No, there is no mad scientist. Yes, there is a creation of man going amuck. Yes, there is a nasty space monster, and yes, they do fight...eventually.
History: The Martians, having destroyed their world in a devastating nuclear war, need to find women to continue their race. Earth is nice, so they round some up and shoot down a rocket coming near them. That rocket held Colonel Frank Saunders, a hyper-advanced android, and due to the crash and subsequent malfunction, he's a little deformed and nuts. Oh, and the Martians have a monstrous mutant named Mull at their beck and call.
Notable Kills: See Final Fate.
Final Fate: Frank, having regained a bit of conscious, rescues the remaining kidnapped women, fights Mull to a stand-still, and sabotages the main Martian ship from the inside, killing all in it, including him and Mull. Who said robots can't make noble sacrifices?
Powers/Abilities: Being an android, Frank can withstand damage that would kill a human.
Weakness: Anything conventional, or big like an explosion.
Scariness Factor: 4-Major points for creativity on Mull's part! He looks like a gorilla ripped straight out of Hell! As for Frank, he does look like an even more manic Two-Face, but he meant well in the end.
Trivia: -Mull was played by an uncredited Bruce Glover, the father of Crispin Glover.
-This film was released in the U.K. as "Duel of the Space Monsters".
